Job Description:

Join Pitney Bowes as a CDL A Truck Driver, 3rd Shift in Charlotte, North Carolina at our Presort Services facility! There are 3 job slots for this role!

Your schedule will be Monday through Friday from 2:00PM to 11:00PM EST.

Your hourly pay will be $25 paid weekly with an opportunity for overtime.

Responsibilities:

• Keep a detailed driver’s log or route sheet for mileage, stops, and cargo, or utilize the ELD system.
• Maintain pickup and delivery schedules, meeting deadlines using software tools.
• Ensure your vehicle and work area are clean and well-maintained.
• Understand and follow all safety and security precautions and company policies.
• Maintain regular attendance.
• Utilize all required cell phone applications effectively.
• Demonstrate and adhere to safety and security precautions and company policies.

Qualifications:

• Minimum of 21 years in age
• Ability to drive a CDL Tractor Trailer or equivalent.
• Valid state motor vehicle operator’s license in the state where the driver resides (CDL Class A) and meets applicable DOT requirements for CDL.
• Minimum of 6 months’ verifiable driving experience within the last 5 years driving a tractor trailer (semi) truck with safe driving record.
• Ability to read a map and understand directions.
• Ability to read and speak the English language sufficiently to converse with the general public, to understand highway traffic signs and signals in the English language, to respond to official inquiries, and to make entries on reports and records.
• Ability to lift at least 50 lbs., walk, stand, stoop, and bend with or without accommodation.
• Must have the ability to work mandatory overtime that may include weekends, holidays and or a different shift with little or no advance notice.

About Our team: Pitney Bowes Presort Services performs mail sorting; performing some of the work that would typically be performed by the USPS®. For completing this work, Presort Services receives discounted postage rates. By performing this sorting work on behalf of our clients, we are able to share a portion of that discount with them. Our national network of operating centers processes over 17 billion pieces of mail annually. We provide mailers with end-to-end solutions from pick-up at their location into delivery into the postal system network, providing optimal postage savings.
