Position Summary:
The Capital Markets Strategy & Operations Analyst supports the funding and sale of GoodLeap’s consumer finance loans by operationalizing revolving credit facilities, whole loan purchase agreements, and asset-backed securitizations. The Analyst manages day-to-day loan funding and sales activity, supports and maintains GoodLeap’s investor relationships, and works directly with lenders, capital partners, and their third-party vendors. Reporting to the Manager of Capital Markets Strategy & Operations, the Analyst collaborates closely with Capital Markets, Legal, Servicing, Underwriting, Product, Engineering, Finance, Accounting, and Business Development.
Essential Job Duties and Responsibilities:
Required Skills, Knowledge and Abilities:
The Analyst brings at least two years of experience in financial modeling and analysis, and at least two years in capital markets, treasury, or finance. They have advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Databricks, and AI tools (e.g., Claude), with the technical ability to manipulate and analyze large datasets and apply statistical methods to them. They communicate findings clearly, in writing and verbally, to management, investors, and other external parties. They have a solid grasp of capital markets, finance, accounting, and business operations concepts, and ideally bring experience in financial services, consumer finance, fintech, or renewable energy finance. They work well across Capital Markets, Legal, Servicing, Underwriting, Product, Engineering, Finance, Accounting, and Business Development, and represent GoodLeap professionally while building lasting relationships with funding and capital partners. Above all, they are a curious, tenacious problem solver and a strong team player.
Compensation: $95,000-$105,000 plus bonus
