FS Consulting at PwC Poland is a vibrant team of experts helping financial institutions in Poland and beyond tackle risk management challenges - from market and credit risk to operational risk and regulatory compliance. We work closely with PwC Germany’s Financial Services Solutions Practice, which plays a key role in delivering high-impact consulting projects for Germany’s financial sector. The scope of work  involves not only analyzing financial statements, but above all drawing conclusions and practically implementing new regulations. You’ll get to collaborate directly with our German colleagues and clients and dive into cross-border projects - immersing yourself in the heart of EU’s financial world. 

We are looking for: 

Risk Management Consultant with German language skills 

Your future role: 

• Analyze and optimize risk management processes to ensure compliance with evolving European regulations, 
• Support clients during supervisory audits conducted by ECB, Bundesbank or BaFin, 
• Assist clients in implementing regulations (such us MaRisk, CRDVI, BRRD) and interpreting emerging frameworks (like IReF or BIRD),  
• Drive digitalization and optimization of banking processes,  
• Collaborate closely with PwC Germany, building a cross-border network and learning from experts,  
• Grow professionally in a culture that values curiosity, initiative, and continuous learning. 
• Support clients in resolving complex risk management processes. 

Apply if you have:  

• Fluency in both English and German (C1 or higher),  
• Completed or soon-to-be-completed higher education degree in finance, economics, international business, accounting, or a related field,   
• Familiarity with FS regulatory requirements (EBA or SRB Guidelines), 
• Basic understanding of banking processes like risk management,    
• A structured, proactive, and quality-focused work approach,  
• Strong communication skills, openness, and eagerness to learn and grow in an international, collaborative environment, motivation to develop professionally and engage with the German team and clients. 

Nice to have:  

• Understanding of IFRS and/or HGB accounting, with some practical experience gained through internships in auditing, accounting, or consulting, 
• Basic programming skills or familiarity with Python, R or Excel, 
• Excel using AI tools to automate tasks, analyze information, and generate content.
