Join our friendly team and help create meaningful moments for residents, families and visitors through exceptional coffee and customer service. This role provides a vital social and activity outlet for our residents as well as forming a safe and welcoming place for families to spend time together.

At St Vincent's Care Services Toowoomba, we're dedicated to providing compassionate care and creating a welcoming community where residents feel at home. We are currently seeking an extraverted and customer-focused Cafe Barista to join our team and support the daily operations of our on-site café.

This is a fantastic opportunity for anyone who is a skilled barista, looking to work between 9:00am – 3:00pm! Flexible Roster - Weekends also available.

Things that work for us

• Previous experience as a Barista in a café or hospitality environment
• Ability to consistently prepare high-quality coffee and beverages
• Excellent customer service and communication skills
• Experience handling cash and EFTPOS transactions
• Strong organisational skills and ability to multitask during busy periods
• A positive attitude and willingness to work collaboratively within a team

As a Café Barista, you'll be responsible for:

• Preparing and serving quality coffee, beverages and light refreshments
• Delivering exceptional customer service to residents, families, visitors and staff
• Maintaining a clean, safe and welcoming café environment
• Operating the point-of-sale system and handling transactions accurately
• Assisting with stock control, ordering and replenishment
• Ensuring food safety and hygiene standards are consistently met
