What this role is all about
Great hospitality is often found in the little moments — a fresh coffee, a quick breakfast, a friendly smile, or a perfectly stocked café. As a Café Attendant, you’ll help create welcoming, seamless guest experiences while supporting daily café operations, light food preparation, and buffet or grab-and-go service.
This role is perfect for someone who enjoys working in a fast-paced hospitality environment, loves interacting with guests, and takes pride in keeping spaces clean, stocked, organized, and guest-ready throughout the day.

What you’ll be doing
- Provide friendly, attentive, and efficient guest service across café, breakfast, buffet, and grab-and-go operations.
- Prepare and replenish light food offerings including breakfast items, snacks, pastries, coffee, beverages, salads, and grab-and-go products.
- Monitor buffet and café stations to ensure food quality, freshness, cleanliness, presentation, and stock levels are consistently maintained.
- Assist with basic food preparation, setup, portioning, and presentation according to hotel and food safety standards.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization across café spaces, buffet stations, beverage areas, seating areas, and service counters.
- Restock food, beverages, utensils, condiments, cups, plates, and operational supplies throughout shifts.
- Operate POS systems and process guest transactions accurately as needed.
- Follow food safety regulations, sanitation procedures, HACCP guidelines, and hotel operational standards at all times.
- Assist with opening duties, closing side work, inventory support, and operational setup or breakdown tasks.
- Partner closely with Culinary, Stewarding, and Food & Beverage teams to support smooth daily operations and guest satisfaction.
- Support banquet, catering, breakfast, and high-volume service periods as needed.
- Any other duties as assigned.
What great looks like
- Previous café, coffee shop, buffet, restaurant, hospitality, food service, or customer service experience preferred.
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced hospitality environment.
- Strong communication, teamwork, and guest service skills.
- Knowledge of basic food preparation, food handling, sanitation procedures, and food safety standards preferred.
- Experience using POS systems and handling guest transactions preferred.
- Strong attention to cleanliness, organization, food presentation, and operational detail.
- Positive attitude with a friendly, service-focused, and team-oriented mindset.
- Flexible availability including mornings, weekends, holidays, and event support as needed.
- A passion for hospitality, teamwork, guest engagement, and creating welcoming dining experiences.
