Role/Department Description:

The APAC Institutional Buyside team is hiring a Solution Specialist for Southeast Asia. This is a specialist role working alongside our sales and business development colleagues to grow ASV of our Portfolio Solutions that span front and middle office. You will cover sovereign wealth funds, insurers & asset managers across the region. This is a small, highly effective team: you will be the specialist assigned to accounts and run deals yourself.

The role covers our solutions across the Portfolio Lifecycle: portfolio construction, research and asset allocation on the front-office side, and performance measurement, attribution, risk, fixed income, reporting and managed services on the middle-office side. You will be the person who can go deep on the detail with department heads or c-suite then step back and make the value case to the people who sign for it.

What You'll Do:

• Be the subject matter expert across the Portfolio Lifecycle, and the person sales, consulting and clients turn to when the question gets technical.
• Work the opportunities generalist sales and business development bring you
• Own an assigned book, with quarterly coverage and annual growth targets.
• Qualify by asking better questions than the competition, then build the demo that answers them.
• Take our AI solutions to market: Portfolio Analytics MCP, Portfolio Commentary, FactSet Programming Environment (FPE) Intelligence and more.
• Reach heads of departments and team leads.
• Keep Salesforce current, share what you know across the wider team, and route client feedback to product.

What We're Looking For:

• 5+ years Buy-side experience, or selling to it, deep enough that a head of performance takes you seriously.
• Working knowledge of portfolio analytics and the calculations underneath: attribution, performance measurement, risk models, fixed income.
• You already use AI daily for research, analysis, client materials and RFPs, and can show what you built.
• A record of earning client trust and finding opportunity inside your own accounts, and the discipline to log both.
• Knowledge of the competition: BlackRock Aladdin, Bloomberg, MSCI, etc.
• Comfortable running several live projects at once.

Highly Desired:

• A degree in business, economics, finance or maths; if you have worked in the field, the subject matters less.
• CFA, CIPM, FRM or CAIA, done or in progress
