About the Role

This role contributes to the delivery of customer outcomes that are reliable, thoughtful, and create meaningful impact for customers and society. The role holder is expected to embed a customer first mindset in all decisions and actions by developing a clear understanding of customer needs, taking end to end ownership to resolve issues, and working collaboratively across teams to continuously enhance the customer journey—both directly and indirectly.

AI adoption - This role will actively drive the adoption of AI-enabled tools and solutions to enhance team productivity, improve delivery efficiency, and support data-driven decision-making across both IT and business functions.

Roles and Responsibilities:


Support Business Requirement Delivery & Change Execution (70%)


1. Lead requirement discovery with business users, operations, and key stakeholders to define clear business problems, scope, and expected outcomes.

2. Translate business needs into high-quality functional requirements, process flows, user stories, and acceptance criteria for IT delivery teams.

3. Drive end-to-end requirement lifecycle management, including elicitation, analysis, prioritization, baseline control, and change requests.

4. Facilitate requirement workshops, walkthroughs, and solution discussions between business users, SMEs, IT teams, and vendors.

5. Act as the primary liaison between business and technology teams to ensure alignment on scope, priorities, dependencies, and delivery timelines.

6. Support project planning and execution by tracking requirement milestones, identifying gaps/risks early, and coordinating mitigation actions.

7. Lead UAT preparation with business users, including test scenario definition, defect triage support, and sign-off readiness.

8. Ensure delivered solutions align with business objectives, regulatory/compliance requirements, and operational processes.

9. Maintain complete and accurate BSA documentation, process maps, traceability matrices, decision logs, and status updates.

10. Support post-go-live stabilization, benefit tracking, and continuous improvement of business processes and requirement quality.

 

AI & Productivity Enablement (30%)

 

  • Identify and implement AI-driven solutions (e.g., copilots, automation, intelligent assistants) to streamline development, testing, documentation, and support processes.
  • Drive adoption of AI tools within the team by establishing best practices, governance, and measurable productivity KPIs.
  • Continuously assess opportunities to leverage AI (e.g., code generation, test automation, incident analysis, knowledge management) to improve delivery speed and quality.
  • Partner with architecture, risk, and compliance teams to ensure responsible and secure use of AI technologies.
  • Upskill team members on AI capabilities and embed AI usage into daily workflows and SDLC practices.

Minimum Job Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Information Systems, Computer Science, or related discipline.
  • 5–8 years of experience in business analysis, requirement management, or IT change delivery, with at least 3 years in a lead/senior BA capacity.
  • Proven track record in leading requirement discovery and translating complex business needs into clear functional specifications, delivery scope, and measurable outcomes.
  • Strong experience partnering with business users, operations teams, IT SMEs, and vendors across end-to-end project/enhancement lifecycles.
  • Hands-on experience in requirement artifacts and governance (e.g., business requirements, functional specifications, user stories, process maps, traceability matrix, change control, UAT planning/execution support) using modern tools and automation (e.g., Visio, Lucidchart, Jira/Confluence, and AI-enabled tooling).
  • AI mindset and adoption: Candidate must be willing to actively use AI to improve BA productivity and quality (e.g., requirement drafting/refinement, meeting summarization, stakeholder comms, process mapping support, UAT scenario/test case generation, defect triage analysis). Proven experience using AI in day-to-day BA work is a strong advantage.
  • Change agent / impact-driven: Strong ownership and proactiveness to drive change and create tangible impact—able to challenge the status quo, identify inefficiencies, propose better ways of working, and push initiatives through to execution.
  • Strong facilitation and communication skills, including workshop leadership, conflict resolution, influencing skills, and decision alignment among cross-functional stakeholders; able to handle ambiguity and drive clarity.
  • Familiarity with pension systems or MPF-related platforms is a strong advantage.
  • Good understanding of system integration concepts, data flow, and API/interface dependencies; able to work effectively with solution architects and technical leads to evaluate feasibility, impacts, and delivery approach.
  • Working knowledge of SQL/data analysis (for requirement validation, impact analysis, reconciliation, and defect triage) is preferred.
  • Experience in Agile/Hybrid delivery environments and tools (e.g., Jira/Confluence/Azure DevOps) preferred.
  • Exposure to AI-enabled BA productivity tools (e.g., requirement drafting, meeting summarization, UAT case generation through GitHub Copilot or equivalent) is an advantage.
  • Fluent in Cantonese, English, and Mandarin.
