The Business Performance Manager serves as the central driving force of the Central Division Strategy Department. This role is dedicated to strategic project management, capturing business efficiencies & tracking division-wide strategic KPIs. Combining strategic oversight with operational rigor, the manager guides efficiency and expense analysis initiatives to address operational waste and captures cross-functional savings. Additionally, this position stewards the end-to-end design, delivery, and governance of executive reports and dashboards that provide clear, real-time line-of-sight into strategic progress.

Job Duties:

• Facilitate the implementation of strategic transformation projects across cross-functional teams, supporting milestone completion and deadlines.
• Thoughtfully identify operational bottlenecks and partner with department leaders to remove friction and advance project progress.
• Identify, quantify, and resolve operational waste (e.g., freight inefficiencies, redundant costs, rogue spend) by developing and executing cross-functional savings plans.
• Support alignment of daily purchasing best practices (e.g., PCards, requisitions, blanket POs) among applicable associates.
• Design and maintain executive-level performance dashboards that translate raw operational and financial data into actionable strategic insights.
• Establish standard reporting definitions and delivery cadences across the division to ensure a single version of truth and inspire stakeholder action.
• Build and maintain matrixed relationships across divisional, regional & corporate leadership (operations, finance, sales, etc.) to foster collaborative problem-solving.

Are you a MATCH?

Required Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Supply Chain, Accounting, Economics, or a related field.
• 5+ years performance management, PMO, operational analytics, finance, business operations or management consulting.  
• Experience delivering digital transformation and/or complex BI initiatives within a decentralized, multi-site environment.
• Strong understanding in BI architecture (Power BI), data modeling, data lifecycle management, and Google Business Suite. 
• Familiarity with coding languages.
• Advanced financial & operational literacy with a proven track record of identifying, targeting & capturing operating expense savings.  
• Demonstrated experience in communication and presentation skills, with the ability to distill complex operational data into clear strategic narratives for groups and executive leadership across multiple formats (e.g., email, slides).  
• Experience in project management and organizational skills.
• Innovative, problem-solving mindset capable of challenging the operational status quo.
• Ability to travel up to 25%.
• Candidates must have valid employment authorization in the U.S. and must not require visa sponsorship now or in the future.

Preferred Qualifications:

• MBA or advanced degree in Data Analytics/Business Intelligence preferred.
• Project Management Professional (PMP) certification and/or Industrial Gas or Distribution experience.
• Experience with SAP, Gemini and applied AI/ML in a business context.
