As a Business Development Territory Manager at Kolmac Integrated Behavioral Health and its subsidiaries ("Kolmac" or the "Company"), you'll play a critical role in building strong relationships with patients, families, referral sources, and the broader community — helping expand access to Kolmac's full range of behavioral health services. You'll drive strategic outreach, cultivate lasting partnerships, and collaborate closely with our operations teams to ensure seamless transitions to treatment and sustained referral growth across your territory. This role calls for a proactive, analytical, and highly collaborative professional with a proven background in behavioral health business development, ready to make a direct impact on our mission: delivering exceptional care to patients throughout the Mid-Atlantic.
Location: We're hiring two Business Development Territory Managers — one based in Philadelphia, PA, and one based in Camp Hill, PA.
Schedule: Monday through Friday, 9 AM–5 PM, with occasional evenings and weekends as needed.
Pay Range: $110,000–$120,000, based on experience.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
Relationship Building & Referral Growth
- Serve as a compassionate liaison to patients, families, and referral sources seeking treatment services
- Build, maintain, and grow strategic partnerships with referral sources — including awareness organizations, hospitals, treatment centers, and clinical and medical professionals
- Actively pursue new referral opportunities to drive regional growth and raise awareness of Kolmac's services
- Foster long-term partnerships by keeping referral sources informed on Kolmac's services, treatment options, and admission processes
- Serve as a liaison between referral sources and internal teams to resolve issues and ensure seamless patient transitions
Outreach & Community Engagement
- Conduct presentations to promote Kolmac's programs and services to referral sources and community organizations
- Represent Kolmac at trade shows, health fairs, marketing meetings, and public awareness events
- Educate the community about Kolmac's integrated behavioral health model, ensuring alignment with its core values and service offerings
Strategy & Reporting
- Assess patient access trends and develop strategies to drive census growth
- Compile and analyze competitive data within your assigned region to identify new growth opportunities
- Submit timely, accurate reports — including Salesforce data, expense reports, annual strategic plans, and monthly updates
- Provide weekly schedules and regular updates to your supervisor
- Continuously meet and exceed referral and relationship-building goals
Cross-Functional Collaboration
- Act as a conduit between referral sources, Patient Engagement, and Kolmac facilities to coordinate treatment
- Partner with Operations and the Business Development and Marketing teams to implement improvements and drive best practices
- Maintain strict adherence to state and federal confidentiality regulations
- Complete all required training in line with company policies and procedures
- Take on additional duties as needed to support organizational goals
Qualifications — Education and Experience:
Required:
- Prior business development experience within the substance use disorder and/or mental health treatment space — this is essential
- Proven ability to build, manage, and grow a territory
- Strong analytical skills, with the ability to use data to guide strategy and decisions
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills
- Adaptable, solution-oriented approach to problem-solving
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation
Preferred:
- Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business Administration, Healthcare Management, or a related field
- Knowledge of Medication-Assisted Treatment (MAT)
- Experience with Salesforce CRM and Microsoft Office Suite
- Familiarity with call center operations and best practices
- Understanding of managed care systems — including provider networks, cost management, reimbursement models, care coordination, and regulatory compliance
