Job Title: Business Development Representative
Location: Colombia
Workplace Type: Remote

Job Summary
The future is bright for the Porch Group, and we’d love you to be a part of it as a Business Development Representative
The Business Development Representative (BDR) is a full-cycle sales role, not a traditional lead-generation or meeting-setting position. The BDR independently sources prospects, runs discovery, delivers the pitch, handles objections, and closes new business — with the goal of securing a signed agreement within a single call whenever possible.
This role is built around Rynoh's Positive Pay automation integration with Sage Intacct: a straightforward, low-complexity add-on for companies already running Sage Intacct, which does not require a product demo. That makes the BDR's phone conversation the entire sales motion — no handoff to an Account Executive is needed to close the deal.
You will manage your own pipeline end-to-end in Salesforce, from first outbound touch through signed agreement and handoff to onboarding, and will be measured primarily on calls-to-close conversion rather than meetings booked.
What You Will Do As A Business Development Representative
Prospecting & Research
Conduct in-depth research to identify potential clients in residential construction, real estate development, and SaaS markets, with a focus on companies running Sage Intacct or Sage Intacct Construction.
Use platforms such as ZoomInfo, LinkedIn Sales Navigator, and CRM databases to build accurate prospect lists.
Segment prospects by industry, role, company size, and technology stack (e.g., Sage Intacct usage) for optimized outreach.
Outbound Engagement & Closing
Make a high volume of daily outbound calls to builders, developers, and related professionals.
Execute monthly call blitzes and targeted email sequences using sales engagement tools.
Run full-cycle sales calls — discovery, pitch, objection handling, and close — with the goal of securing a verbal commitment and signed agreement within a single call.
Send and manage e-signature agreements in real time during live calls to capture commitment before the call ends, minimizing drop-off between agreement and signature.
Inbound & Multi-Channel Outreach
Manage, qualify, and close inbound leads generated through live chat, web inquiries, and marketing campaigns.
Engage decision-makers via personalized LinkedIn and email communications.
Follow up with leads generated from direct mail and event campaigns, working each toward a same-call or same-cycle close.
CRM & Data Management
Maintain accurate lead, activity, and closed-deal data in Salesforce.
Record call outcomes, close rates, and feedback for continuous improvement.
Track agreement and e-signature status for every closed deal, and ensure a clean handoff to the onboarding/Customer Success team.
Collaboration & Strategy
Partner with Marketing to align outbound campaigns with market trends and buyer personas.
Coordinate with Onboarding/Customer Success to ensure a smooth transition for newly closed accounts.
Participate in weekly strategy and performance meetings to review KPIs, review call recordings, and optimize the close process.
Performance Metrics
Consistently meet or exceed quotas for calls, close rate, and new ARR/opportunities closed.
Track weekly KPIs, including outreach volume, engagement rate, and call-to-close conversion rate
What You Will Bring As A Business Development Representative
Associate's or Bachelor's degree preferred, or equivalent work experience.
1–3 years in sales development, business development, or full-cycle sales (preferably B2B SaaS or construction technology).
Proven success in cold calling and closing deals directly over the phone — not just booking meetings or generating qualified leads for someone else to close.
Strong communication, active listening, and rapport-building abilities.
Comfortable handling objections in real time and directly asking for the sale.
Skilled in Salesforce, ZoomInfo, LinkedIn Sales Navigator, and sales engagement platforms (e.g., Outreach, Apollo, or SalesLoft).
Experience with e-signature tools (e.g., DocuSign) is a plus.
Strong time management and organizational skills.
Analytical mindset with the ability to measure and improve performance metrics.
Self-motivated and results-driven with a hunter mentality.
Confident and assertive — comfortable asking for a decision on the call rather than deferring to a future meeting.
Resilient under pressure, with a strong desire to learn and grow in a SaaS sales environment.
Creative and adaptable in messaging to different industries and personas.
Experience working with global and/or US based business teams.
Excellent written and communication skills in English language.
Workspace: A quiet space to work, an internet connection of at least 30 Mbps download | 10 Mbps upload.
What You Will Get Supporting Porch Group
Monthly Salary: COP 4,500,000.00

You will also be eligible to receive sales incentives, subject to program guidelines and approvals.
