Your goal would be to promote the growth of AMBOSS and help bring it to medical schools and teaching institutions. Your contributions will directly support our mission to equip medical students and physicians in Australia with the best medical knowledge for delivering exceptional care. This dynamic role offers a mix of market strategy creation, business development, and marketing, providing opportunities to embrace your entrepreneurial spirit.
Most importantly, you’ll see your impact firsthand - one medical resident and one doctor at a time.
You will:
Plan, together with your team, which medical schools and universities in Australia and other regions across Asia-Pacific don't yet offer their students an AMBOSS license
Build strong relationships with active users and decision-makers, extending our partnerships beyond universities into affiliated institutions so we can support students throughout their medical journey
Conduct needs analyses and create tailored presentations depending on the target university partner
Act as the interface between medical students and AMBOSS teams such as Customer Success, Sales Operations, and Marketing
Plan projects and events on behalf of AMBOSS, using your proximity to medical schools to bring your own ideas to life, there's always room to get involved
Support universities as a reliable partner, from the initial approach through to successful implementation
Work closely with our Data Team and Sales Operations to analyze and evaluate usage data
Represent AMBOSS at events and build your network to increase brand awareness
Drive product and commercial partnerships with other businesses in the field to grow awareness and revenue
Test newly implemented concepts and products, like AMBOSS AI Mode
Assess AMBOSS's product-market fit for Australia, including how licensing works across the country's different medical schools and universities
Support our other Asia-Pacific markets as we grow, if you'd like to branch out
You bring:
Medical background: a licensed medical degree from Australia, ideally complemented by clinical or consultancy experience, giving you a deep understanding of the challenges in healthcare
Strong communication skills: you adapt your language to persuade diverse stakeholders and feel comfortable presenting ideas clearly and effectively
You stay on top of school needs and the latest developments in the medical and EdTech space, and bring new solutions into your work
You're interested in digital solutions and the impact they can have on medical education and everyday clinical practice
Experience in networking, or a strong interest in building relationships across the healthcare and higher education sector
Willingness to travel and get to know medical schools and universities across Australia
Project management skills: you manage multiple parallel projects efficiently in a fast-changing healthcare environment
An independent, structured working style with strong organizational and time-management skills
*This is a full-time role, and we’re looking for someone who can dedicate their 38 hours per week and make a meaningful impact in medical education.
