Business Analyst (CBG) - (Undergraduate & Graduate Intern Transition - Interest in Future Employment Opportunities)

The Impact You’ll Make in this Role

As a Business Analyst, you will have the opportunity to tap into your curiosity and collaborate with some of the most innovative people around the world. Here, you will make an impact by:

• Identifying problems, finding opportunities, and developing solutions within the business analytics process.
• Analyzing Point-of-Sale Data to understand marketplace category performance.
• Utilizing syndicated market scan and household panel data to understand consumer behaviors and develop consumer insights.
• Analyzing planogram performance and market data to build growth strategies for 3M and our channel partners.
• Leading category review projects.

Your Skills and Expertise

To set you up for success in this role from day one, 3M requires (at a minimum) the following qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree or higher (completed and verified prior to start)
• Strong foundation in MS Office skills (including pivot tables, formulas, formatting and data manipulation)

Additional qualifications that could help you succeed even further in this role include:

• Experience with syndicated data providers like Circana, AC Nielsen and Numerator.
• Experience with space planning software
• Critical thinking skills with attention to detail
• Project management skills, including the ability to plan, prioritize, and work effectively in a fast-paced, highly matrixed environment
• Effective interpersonal, listening and organization skills
• Demonstrates ability to adapt and learn new systems.
• Demonstrates curiosity, resourcefulness, creativity, initiative and cooperation

Work Location: This Role has on-site working model, with the employee working at least four (4) days a week in the office at 3M Center, located in Maplewood, MN. Maplewood, MN is primary location. However, potential for other locations across the US.

Travel: May include up to 15% travel
