Requirements

Industrial Boiler Technician

This is where you come in.

We're looking for an Industrial Boiler Technician to provide maintenance, repair, troubleshooting, and installation services for boiler and burner systems serving commercial and industrial customers. In this role, you'll serve as a trusted technical expert, consulting with customers on issues identified during service calls and recommending effective solutions to keep their systems operating safely and efficiently.

You'll work closely with our SSP Account Executives, Service Coordination team, and Foreperson to ensure customer expectations are exceeded and projects are completed successfully. As part of our Industrial Group, you'll join a collaborative, highly skilled team focused on delivering exceptional service while supporting a growing and evolving business.

This is a union position. Candidates must either be current members of the applicable Local Union or be willing and eligible to join.

Your Background

What kind of person thrives in this role?

You should have:

• 2+ years of experience working with boiler systems, including high- and low-pressure steam boilers, hot water systems, and a variety of boiler types such as fire-tube, water-tube, and condensing boilers.
• The ability to regularly lift, carry, and maneuver 50+ pounds.
• Current union membership or the willingness and ability to join the Local Union.
• Willingness to travel throughout Washington and Oregon as needed.
• Washington and/or Oregon boiler licensing, or the ability to obtain the required licenses.
• Washington and/or Oregon low-voltage licensing, or the ability to obtain the required licenses.

Benefits

Compensation: $25 - $70 per hour paid in accordance with the union wage scale.
