Sobre este puesto de Bilingual Employment Law Paralegal & Intake Specialist en Staffing for Doctors
We are seeking a sharp, empathetic, and detail-oriented Bilingual Employment Law Paralegal / Intake Specialist to support a growing U.S.-based employment law firm. In this dual-function role, you will be the first point of contact for potential clients who are often navigating difficult workplace situations, such as wrongful termination, discrimination, or wage disputes.
You will be responsible for conducting thorough intake screening interviews, gathering critical case facts, qualifying leads, and supporting the attorney with essential pre-litigation paralegal drafting and document organization. If you have a solid background in U.S. plaintiff-side litigation, speak fluent English and Spanish, and possess an empathetic phone presence, we encourage you to apply!
Key Responsibilities
- Intake & Screening Management: Answer inbound calls, web leads, and text inquiries from potential clients using the firm’s screening scripts.
- Case Fact Gathering: Collect detailed case information regarding employers, employment dates, termination reasons, pay issues, and protected class/activity indicators, documenting all data clearly in the CRM.
- Initial Case Qualification: Perform preliminary case evaluations (evaluating statute of limitations, employer size, at-will vs. contract status) and flag high-priority leads to the attorney on the same day.
- Client Onboarding & Scheduling: Send and track retainer agreements and intake forms via e-signature platforms, schedule consultations, and maintain the attorney’s calendar.
- Paralegal & Pre-Litigation Support: Organize client documents, build case chronologies, follow up with clients for additional records, and draft initial demand letters and administrative agency filings (EEOC, CRD, DLSE) using established templates.
Requirements
- Experience: 1+ years of direct experience in a U.S. law firm as an Intake Specialist or Paralegal (preference for employment law, personal injury, or plaintiff-side litigation).
- Language & Communication: Exceptional bilingual fluency in English and Spanish with an American accent preference. Must possess a calm, compassionate, and professional phone presence.
- Written Skills: Strong written English capabilities; summaries and notes must be clear, complete, and structured enough for the attorney to evaluate without requiring follow-up calls.
- Software Proficiency: Hands-on experience with legal case management platforms (Clio, MyCase, Filevine, Lawmatics, or similar) and e-signature tools.
- Ethical Compliance: Clear understanding of confidentiality, HIPAA/PII protection, and attorney-client privilege.
Work Setup & Terms
- Schedule: Full-Time (40 hours/week, Monday – Friday).
- Location: 100% Remote.
- Requirements: Noise-canceling headset, high-speed internet, and power/internet backup systems.
