Bank Physiotherapy Assistant - West Midlands Hospital

The role

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Physiotherapy Assistant to join the Physiotherapy Department at West Midlands Hospital, Halesowen.

In this role, you will support the Physiotherapy team in delivering high-quality patient care on the inpatient orthopaedic wards, assisting physiotherapists with the rehabilitation and recovery of patients. The position includes participation in our weekend service, with a commitment to work a minimum of one weekend per month. There may also be opportunities to undertake additional weekday shifts, depending on service demands, supporting both ward-based therapy and post-operative rehabilitation classes.

The Hospital has a 30 bedded mixed inpatient case load which includes orthopaedics, gynae and general surgery.
