As an AWS Solution Architect - Director, you will design and implement innovative technology solutions to meet clients' business needs within our Integration and Platform Architecture practice. You will leverage your experience in analyzing requirements and developing technical designs to enable the successful delivery of solutions. As a Director, you will set the strategic direction and lead business development efforts, making impactful decisions and overseeing multiple projects while maintaining executive-level client relations. Translating the vision, you set the tone and inspire others to follow. Your role is crucial in driving business growth, shaping the direction of client engagements, and mentoring the next generation of leaders.

Responsibilities

- Designing and implementing seamless integration solutions and robust platform architectures to enhance client business performance
- Leveraging Amazon Web Services (AWS) to develop innovative technology solutions that meet client business needs
- Analyzing business requirements and developing technical designs to enable successful solution delivery
- Leading business development efforts by identifying market gaps and converting opportunities into successes
- Overseeing multiple projects and maintaining executive-level client relations to drive business growth
- Promoting technological advances and creating environments where people and technology thrive together
- Mentoring the next generation of leaders and cultivating potential within the team
- Conducting business impact analysis and competitive analysis to inform strategic technology planning
- Developing and overseeing the deployment of scalable system architectures and integration solutions
- Collaborating with stakeholders to identify and address data challenges and optimize technology infrastructure

What You Must Have

- At least a Bachelor's degree
- At least 17 years of experience
- Oral and written proficiency in English required

What Sets You Apart

- Preference for at least one of the following fields of study: Computer and Information Science, Computer Applications, Computer Engineering, Engineering & Business, Information Technology, Management Information Systems, Management of Technology
- Demonstrating proficiency in Amazon Web Services (AWS) and cloud strategy
- Utilizing architectural engineering skills to drive innovative solutions
- Excelling in business impact analysis and competitive analysis
- Leading enterprise architecture initiatives and system integration projects
- Cultivating strategic technology planning and innovation processes
- Mentoring teams in solution architecture and technology roadmap development
- 17+ years of experience in IT architecture or software engineering.

- 8+ years of hands-on AWS experience in architecture design and implementation.

- Mastery of AWS architecture design spanning all six Well-Architected Framework pillars.

- Proven track record leading enterprise-scale cloud architecture programs.

- Extensive experience with complex cross-service integrations (API Gateway, Lambda, Step - - - Functions, EventBridge, AppSync, SQS/SNS, Kinesis).

- Expert-level proficiency in Infrastructure as Code (Terraform, CloudFormation, CDK).

- Strategic experience in FinOps, cost governance, and performance engineering using Cost Explorer, Compute Optimizer, and AWS Budgets.

- Experience architecting multi-account Landing Zones with Control Tower, Organizations, and Service Control Policies.

- Strong understanding of application security, identity management (IAM, Cognito, SSO), and cloud governance (AWS Config, Service Catalog, GuardDuty, Security Hub).

- Strong communication, leadership, and stakeholder management skills.

- Proven ability to drive architectural decisions at the executive level.

- Knowledge of Agile Methodology and Practices.

- Deep experience with microservices architecture, serverless patterns, and event-driven design.
