About the Role:

The Associate Pricing Analyst will support the Pricing & Commercial Operations Lead and act as a central analytical and commercial resource for pricing across the Sourcing organisation. The role will combine accurate execution of pricing activity with proactive identification, analysis and delivery of pricing opportunities across suppliers, products and sourcing programmes.

The Pricing Analyst will evaluate supplier pricing behaviour, market dynamics, pricing-rule adherence and member economics to identify commercial risks and value opportunities. The role will develop fact-based supplier negotiation strategies, lead defined pricing discussions within agreed authority levels, and support broader initiatives to strengthen pricing consistency, supplier accountability and commercial outcomes.

The position will also contribute to the continued development of ClarusONE’s pricing framework, analytics capabilities and supplier-management approach, helping ensure that pricing rules remain commercially effective, operationally practical and aligned with member objectives.

What You'll Do:

• Build and maintain effective relationships with suppliers and key stakeholders to support commercial objectives.
• Prepare negotiation strategies through analysis of historical pricing, market intelligence, supplier performance, and commercial benchmarks.
• Conduct detailed pricing, spend, and market analysis to identify cost-saving opportunities, commercial risks, and value creation initiatives.
• Monitor supplier pricing trends, market dynamics, inflationary pressures, and competitive movements to support sourcing and procurement strategies.
• Develop analytical models and reporting to assess pricing performance, supplier behaviour, and category-level opportunities.
• Own or support cross-functional pricing projects from problem definition through analysis, recommendation, implementation and benefit tracking.
• Develop regular reporting that distinguishes submitted activity from value influenced or delivered by the pricing function.
• Produce regular reporting on pricing trends, savings delivery, supplier performance, and procurement initiatives.
• Measure and communicate the financial impact of projects, negotiations, and process improvements.
• Develop supplier scorecards and performance metrics to evaluate commercial performance, responsiveness, reliability, and compliance.
• Monitor supplier activity and identify indicators of commercial risk, value leakage, or performance concerns.

Basic Requirements:

• Typically, minimum 0-2 years of relevant experience. May have degree or equivalent.
• Experience in pricing, commercial analytics, strategic sourcing, finance and/or supplier management.
• Demonstrated ability to convert complex datasets into commercial actions and recommendations.
• Experience preparing for or participating in supplier or customer negotiations.
• Experience assessing financial impact, constructing commercial scenarios and tracking realised value.
• Pharmaceutical, healthcare distribution, procurement or generic-drug market experience preferred.
• Experience delivering analytical or process-improvement projects across multiple function.

Preferred Skills/Experience:

• Strong commercial judgement and ability to recognise value opportunities beyond basic rule compliance.
• Advanced Excel capability and working knowledge of BI, dashboarding or analytical tools.
• Ability to analyse pricing at product, family, supplier and portfolio levels.
• Confident presentation and storytelling skills, with the ability to communicate recommendations to senior stakeholders.
• Effective negotiation, influencing and challenge skills.
• Ability to operate within legal, contractual and confidentiality guardrails when providing supplier pricing guidance. Existing guidance materials specifically emphasise avoiding disclosure of one supplier’s pricing or how guidance was derived.
• Ability to balance member economics, sourcing strategy, supplier relationships, compliance and operational feasibility.
• Strong project management skills, including ownership of milestones, risks, benefits and stakeholder actions.

Physical Requirements:

• This is a Hybrid role in London, GBR. Candidate will be required to be onsite 2 days per week.
• This role is Fixed Term (12 months).
