Role Summary
We are seeking a highly motivated FP&A Analyst to join the Data & Analytics Finance team. The role will support financial planning, forecasting, reporting, and analysis activities across D&A functions, helping business leaders make informed decisions through timely financial insights.
The successful candidate will work closely with Finance Business Partners, Cost Centre Managers, HR, and Controllership teams to support the monthly management cycle, workforce planning processes, and financial performance analysis. This is an excellent opportunity for an early-career finance professional looking to develop strong commercial and analytical skills in a global organization.
Key Responsibilities
Financial Planning & Forecasting
- Support monthly forecasts, annual budgets, and strategic planning exercises.
- Assist in the preparation of workforce plans, including headcount, hiring, attrition, and vacancy analysis.
- Maintain financial planning models and planning templates.
- Analyze forecast variances and identify risks and opportunities.
Management Reporting & Analytics
- Produce monthly financial reports and dashboards covering:
- Operating Expenses (Opex)
- Staff Costs
- External Workforce
- Headcount Metrics
- Cost of Sales
- Assist in preparing executive review packs and management presentations.
- Perform variance analysis against Budget, Forecast, and Prior Year.
Workforce & Cost Management
- Track employee movements, plan transfers, organisational changes, and cost centre updates.
- Support headcount reconciliations between financial and HR systems.
- Monitor staff costs and provide insights on key cost drivers.
- Support workforce planning reviews with business stakeholders.
Business Partnering Support
- Work closely with Finance Business Partners to provide financial insights and analysis.
- Respond to ad-hoc requests from leadership teams and functional stakeholders.
- Help identify opportunities for cost optimisation and process improvements.
Systems & Process Support
- Support reporting activities across tools such as Workday, EPM, Pyramid, Power BI, and Excel.
- Assist in maintaining data quality and improving reporting accuracy.
- Contribute to automation and standardization initiatives.
