*This position is located on the island of Oahu and candidates must work in the State of Hawaii upon hire*

Typical duties include but are not limited to:

•          Perform a variety of clerical support duties for the claims adjusting staff with a focus on the Property and Work Comp units.

•          Process e-mailed requests from adjusters and customers.

•          Handle outgoing correspondence and mailing for adjusters.

•          Handle property assignments and assist with IA assignments as well as assist with police reports.

•          Provide clerical support on a back-up basis for other claim units.

•          Other duties as assigned.

Qualifications / Experience:

Associate III:

•          High School diploma or equivalent

•          2+ years general office

•          Basic knowledge of Microsoft Office Programs (Word, Excel, and Outlook) and internet

•          Keyboard 35+ WPM

•          Ability to multi task and work in a fast pace environment

•          Effective verbal and written communication skills

•          Ability to work well with others internally and externally

•          Excellent organizational skills and prioritize assignments

•          Able to work independently and in a team

•          Able to identify an issue and suggest solutions for improvement

•          Ability to problem solve and with management to develop SOPs (standard operations procedures)

Senior Associate: (all Associate III requirements plus the following):

•          2 year college degree or equivalent

•          3+ years of general office experience

•          Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office Programs (Word, Excel and Outlook) and internet

Special Circumstances: 

•          May require occasional after hours

Salary:

$39,000 - $55,800 annually
