Role
As an Associate Director you will play a key role in leading and executing projects for 160over90’s clients. You’ll support at each stage of the client lifecycle from audience profiling, partnership identification & valuation through to measurement of impact.
This is a cross-functional role that requires strong collaboration with strategy, account, and analytics teams, as well as direct interaction with clients.
This position is ideal for someone who can independently manage projects, contribute to strategic thinking, and elevate the quality of research outputs across the team. They will also be able to lead a small team to effectively deliver projects and serve as a leader and role model.
Responsibilities
- Combine Publicis Sports’ Sponsorship Intelligence expertise with additional research tools to help inform strategy, positioning, and partnership opportunities.
- Deliver partnership valuations that inform decision making and support contract negotiation.
- Support the development of reporting and measurement outputs, including performance summaries and dashboards, in collaboration with analytics partners.
- Provide support to account teams when making informed recommendations to clients based upon their objectives, market trends, sponsorship measurement, value drivers, potential opportunities etc.
- Contribute to business development and help identify opportunities to expand research scope and impact.
- Lead a small team to ensure that projects are produced according to client need, SOW’s and budgets.
- Monitor trends in the sports, entertainment, and technology landscapes to keep team members and executives up to date and identify new opportunities.
- Contribute to positive team culture to foster high performance, efficient processes, and ongoing professional development.
Qualifications & Skills
- BA/BS degree or equivalent experience required.
- 6+ years of business strategy, consulting, research, or agency experience (preferably in the sports/entertainment industry). Must have a deep knowledge of sponsorship and the sports industry.
- Experience working with secondary and syndicated research tools (e.g. GWI, YouGov, social listening, earned & owned media analysis, media value & exposure data etc.)
- Proficient in Microsoft Suite, particularly with PowerPoint, Word and Excel.
- Must be proficient with partnership valuation techniques and associated data.
- Familiarity with brand measurement, campaign analytics, or media performance is a plus.
- Proficiency in statistical and analytical techniques (e.g., segmentation, regression, modelling) is a plus.
- Ability to communicate professionally in both a written and verbal context with the ability to tell compelling, client-ready stories.
- Ability to synthesize multiple data sources into clear, actionable insights and strategic recommendations.
- Attention to detail, ability to work with deadlines, and ability to coordinate across multiple departments.
- Intellectual curiosity and propensity to learn new subjects quickly.
- Proven experience in collaborating across teams and lines of business within large organizations, including influencing partners and working with diverse teams.
- Ability to anticipate and quickly assess continually changing client needs and adapt resources and strategies accordingly.
- Ability to lead a team in a comprehensive and organizational manner.

Hiring pay rates are based on a number of factors, including location and may vary depending on job-related qualifications, knowledge, skills and experience.
