Position Overview:
We are seeking candidates for an Associate role on our Compliance team supporting the Global Content Review function. This is a hybrid office/remote role with in-office time in Gurugram.

GLG’s Compliance team - via our systems and compliance framework - help protect our clients by mitigating the risk of inadvertently soliciting or receiving confidential information from our experts and controlling the type of client information that is shared with experts.
GLG’s Compliance team comprises more than 70 professionals around the globe. It is led by our General Counsel, Laurence Herman, who has more than two decades of industry experience, and our Chief Compliance Officer, Cohan, who has 18 years of regulatory experience.
Overview of the Role:
As a Compliance Associate on GLG’s Global Content Review team, you will play a critical role in maintaining the integrity of our transcript library and live content offerings. Collaborating with colleagues across the globe, you will apply your research skills and risk assessment expertise to review content programming submissions and event transcripts. The ideal candidate possesses strong analytical abilities, sound judgment, and the confidence to address escalations with thoughtful, compliance-driven solutions that support business goals appropriately.
This role requires a self-motivated professional who thrives in a dynamic, collaborative environment and is adept at engaging stakeholders across levels and functions. Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills are essential.
Key Responsibilities:
- Evaluate the scope and appropriateness of various GLG event programming, ensuring alignment with our compliance framework.
- Collaborate with global colleagues to enforce and uphold compliance policies.
- Partner with your team and manager to identify opportunities to enhance review and approval processes.
- Provide clear, articulate, and practical guidance to stakeholders on compliance-related issues.
- Take ownership of assigned tasks, demonstrating initiative and independence in a fast-paced environment.
- Candidates with either legal/compliance, financial and/or professional client-facing backgrounds will be preferred.
The ideal candidate will have the following attributes:
- Graduate/post-graduate degree with 3-5 years of work experience;
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills;
- Must be well organized with an ability to multi-task and prioritize effectively, while ensuring a high level of accuracy and attention to detail;
- Must be reliable and consistent with a high level of professionalism;
- Ability to use good judgment and maintain confidentiality as needed;
- Proactive, self-motivated and eager to work in a collaborative environment;
- Strong analytical and writing skills with an ability to make complex concepts accessible to different audiences;
- Ability to work effectively and independently from a remote location, and also willingness to work from the office some of the time, and
- Full business proficiency in English.
