ABOUT THE ROLE

We are searching for an enthusiastic individual to join our OpenDoor team as an Account Executive. This is a full-time position based in London. The role will report to the Regional Client Manager Europe based in Düsseldorf, for XCM.

XCM is Amazon’s Cross-Channel Marketing division, delivering all communications for Amazon.com, including large tentpole campaigns such as Black Friday and Prime Day. XCM is the largest business division within Amazon, and Europe is the largest region supported by the OpenDoor team.

As a new Account Executive, you don't need to know it all yet. You will learn the tools, the terminology and the teams. With regular 1-to-1s and access to the world-class WPP Media University, we'll give you everything you need to succeed.

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Support the Regional Client Manager in managing day-to-day client requests, projects and workstreams

• Develop direct client exposure through weekly calls and campaign performance reviews, supporting the preparation of updates and reporting

• Learn the fundamentals of effective campaign management including updating schematics, checking media plans before they go to clients, and working with other teams and partners
• Follow campaign QA and go-live processes, applying structured checks before launch and throughout delivery
• Develop your ability to interpret media delivery data, and communicate what the numbers are telling you
• Assist with financial processes e.g. PO trackers, bookings, reconciliations, queries.

• Champion ways to integrate WPP's proprietary AI platform Open across XCM and the wider team.

Skills and Experience

• Good organizational skills: can run tasks independently, manage multiple tasks, with strong attention to detail
• Good communication skills: listens actively and summarizes important points to confirm understanding
• Collaborative behaviour: Shows respect for the team, accepts constructive feedback, contributes to a positive atmosphere
• Have a basic understanding and competence in MS Office – PowerPoint, Word and Excel
