Bremer Whyte Brown & O'Meara, LLP is seeking a versatile Business Transactions Associate to join our award-winning team in our newest office in South Orange County. As part of the Firm's continued growth across the Western U.S., this is a ground-floor opportunity to help build and shape our tenth office while being supported by the resources of an established, 225+ attorney firm, proudly recognized for our sixth consecutive year in the U.S. News – Best Lawyers® 'Best Law Firms' rankings.

As an integral member of our Business Team, you will represent clients in a variety of corporate transactional matters, including forming and maintaining entities, drafting employment agreements, independent contractor agreements, asset purchase agreements, equity transfer agreements, and more. You will work with a diverse range of clients, including individuals, businesses, and organizations. This role offers an excellent platform for professional growth, as you will collaborate closely with experienced partners and team members.

Requirements

• Minimum 2+ years of experience handling corporate transactional matters, preferably in a law firm environment
• Proficient in drafting corporate formation documents, employment agreements, independent contractor agreements, asset purchase agreements, and equity transfer agreements
• Exceptional verbal and written communication skills with the ability to communicate effectively with clients and counsel
• Ability and desire to work independently while also collaborating with team members
• Client-focused mindset and a passion for achieving successful outcomes
• Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree from an accredited law school
• Active admission to the California State Bar required

The expected base salary range is $150,000-$250,000, however actual compensation will be determined based on experience (this does not include bonus plan).
