GLG is seeking an Associate based in Gurugram, India to be the operational engine that powers the bespoke, qualitative engagements for our global corporate client base including focus groups, advisory boards, workshops, online discussion boards, site visits, product/UX labs, and more. In this role, you will be the backbone of engagement delivery. You'll work in close partnership with US-based client-facing teams and own the logistics that make every project run smoothly.
SPECIFIC RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE (BUT ARE NOT LIMITED TO)
- Own end-to-end logistics for bespoke, qualitative engagements, focus groups, advisory boards, workshops, online discussion boards, site visits, and UX/product labs, working in close partnership with GLG's US-based client-facing teams to ensure flawless delivery for our global corporate clients
- Manage all confirmations, itinerary communications, and pre-engagement reminders to ensure participants are prepared and on time
- Coordinate and manage travel for participants as needed, including flights, trains, hotels, and ground transportation
- Source, coordinate, and manage vendors across in-person and virtual formats globally, building relationships and troubleshooting issues before they reach the client team
- Support negotiation of expert fees and vendor costs to protect project-level profitability
- Build and maintain detailed status trackers, project timelines, and logistics documentation across a portfolio of simultaneous engagements
- Develop and manage project documentation including legal project terms, compliance materials, and operational checklists
- Support budget tracking across projects, monitoring expert fees, vendor costs, and overall project spend
- Handle meticulous data entry and system updates across internal platforms with a high degree of accuracy
- Serve as the operational point of contact during bespoke, engagements, monitoring in real-time to flag and troubleshoot issues and keep all moving parts coordinated
- Conduct post-project closeout including feedback collection, documentation wrap-up, and system updates
- Uphold strict confidentiality of all research content, expert Council information, and client data
- Comfortable operating in a phone-first environment, ready to pick up the phone to coordinate logistics, resolve issues quickly, and keep engagements on track for clients and the broader team
WHO YOU ARE, REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS
- Bachelor's degree or higher
- Proficiency in written and verbal English communication, with strong awareness of professional norms across global contexts
- Exceptional organizational skills, able to manage multiple complex projects simultaneously without losing accuracy or detail
- High ownership mindset with strong problem-solving ability, you take accountability, follow through on commitments, and stay composed under pressure in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment
- A collaborative team player who communicates clearly and promptly across time zones
- Comfortable working US-aligned hours, 3:00 PM–12:00 AM IST (US Eastern) or 6:00 PM–1:00 AM IST (US Central), as part of a globally distributed team
EVEN BETTER IF YOU BRING
- Experience in event coordination, market research operations, or logistics-heavy project management
- Familiarity with qualitative research formats, focus groups, online discussion boards, UX/product labs
- Exposure to vendor management, travel coordination, or budget tracking
- Experience supporting global teams or projects across US, EMEA, or APAC regions
- Analytical mindset with comfort working with data, trackers, and operational reporting
- Industry knowledge in Technology, Payments, Life Sciences, or Industrials
