Who You Are:

You’re an experienced healthcare communications or marketing professional who knows how to turn complex challenges into clear, effective strategies. You’re skilled at building trusted client relationships, coordinating cross-functional teams, and developing omnichannel campaigns that connect with a range of audiences.

As an Associate Account Supervisor, you’ll lead the day-to-day management of strategic communications engagements, helping healthcare organizations protect and strengthen their reputations through thoughtful internal and external communications. You’ll guide projects from strategy through execution, keep teams and deliverables moving forward, and identify opportunities to expand client relationships and grow Unlock Health’s healthcare portfolio.

What You’ll Do:

• Account Management
  • Lead day-to-day management of client account. Coordinate between client stakeholders and align internal teams across the agency, ensuring deadlines for project scopes and deliverables are met and any potential barriers are proactively identified and addressed.
  • Demonstrate on-going accountability by creating and managing project management materials, including status tracking documentation.
  • Support vendor management related to database development, consumer research, and call center services.
  • Help identify opportunities to expand scope of work with existing clients as part of business development.
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for key client stakeholders, and coordinate with the internal team to ensure effective support and successful delivery of client engagements.
  • Contribute to meetings and update clients on all activities.
• Communications Development:
  • Create comprehensive communication plans leveraging owned, earned, shared and paid media.
  • Elevate and protect our clients reputation by building tactical strategies that effectively position their value in the market.
  • Build narratives and engagement plans that increase trust, credibility and grow support among key audiences.
  • Develop strategic, targeted messaging, and materials to execute on approved strategies that enhances client reputation externally and aligns their organization internally.
  • Contribute to creative concepting and asset development.
  • Write message platforms, initial drafts of all communications, creative briefs and prepare deliverables for final review with account lead.
• Team Collaboration:
  • Participate in cross-functional teams of strategic communication leaders, managed care leaders, finance teams, revenue cycle teams and analysts to execute integrated strategies.
  • Provide strategic guidance and ensure seamless execution of initiatives, ensuring they align with the client's objectives.
  • Learn from more experienced team members to grow your skills.
• Market Insights:
  • Stay updated on industry trends, regulatory changes, and developments within the healthcare industry and managed care space.
  • Translate insights into actionable recommendations for clients to stay ahead of the curve.
  • Learn how to pivot campaigns based on negotiation progress and help clients scenario plan.

What You Bring:

• 3-5 years of experience in healthcare strategy or communications, ideally within a consulting firm, agency, or other client-service environment.
• Experience developing and executing integrated communications strategies across earned, owned, shared, and paid channels.
• Strong writing and editing skills, with experience creating message platforms, communication plans, creative briefs, presentations, and client-facing materials.
• A track record of managing healthcare client relationships, providing strategic counsel, and identifying opportunities to strengthen or expand engagements.
• The ability to translate complex healthcare, audience, and market information into clear, actionable recommendations.
• Experience using media monitoring and PR platforms such as Cision and Meltwater.
• An understanding of—or genuine interest in learning—managed care, healthcare reimbursement, regulatory developments, and payer-provider relationships.
• Demonstrated ability to analyze campaign data and performance metrics to evaluate results and inform strategic decisions, along with intermediate Excel skills.
• Strong presentation skills and the ability to communicate recommendations clearly to clients, leadership, and cross-functional teams.
• The judgment and initiative to manage competing priorities, adapt to changing client needs, and move work forward.
