Finance Outsourcing Governance & Control (FOGC) - Associate (P3)

This position is part of the Finance Outsourcing Governance & Control (FOGC) function within the Finance Division's Global Centralised Management organisation and contributes to the delivery of the Firm's deployment and outsourcing strategy. The team works with stakeholders across Finance and other functions to support adherence to applicable global outsourcing regulations and documentation requirements.

As regulatory expectations for outsourcing governance continue to evolve, this role requires effective communication, attention to detail, analytical capability, stakeholder collaboration and project coordination.

What will you be doing?

> Support the delivery of Finance outsourcing governance activities in line with applicable regulatory requirements and Firm policy.
> Support the periodic review and annual validation of Finance outsourcing arrangements by coordinating documentation, recording review outcomes, maintaining supporting evidence and tracking remediation actions.
> Apply regulatory and policy requirements within established governance processes and support the implementation of related controls and guidance.
> Develop effective working relationships across Finance, Compliance, business functions and global teams, preparing governance materials and supporting stakeholder discussions.
> Support outsourcing risk assessments and review submissions from business and support functions, identifying potential gaps and escalating issues where appropriate.
> Prepare responses to regulatory, audit and management requests, ensuring information is accurate, supported by appropriate evidence and delivered within agreed timelines.
> Support regulatory and governance change initiatives by coordinating activities, maintaining project documentation and tracking progress against agreed milestones.
> Prepare management information and governance reporting to support oversight of risk, trends, control performance and required actions.
> Review data across outsourcing inventories and supporting documentation, identifying gaps and supporting improvements in accuracy and consistency.
> Maintain procedures, controls and governance records, supporting an effective audit trail and consistent operating practices.
> Contribute to the simplification and standardisation of governance processes, using data and digital tools to reduce manual effort and improve control execution. What we're looking for:
> Knowledge of, or an interest in developing experience in, outsourcing governance, third-party risk, audit or a comparable control environment within financial services.
> Understanding of governance and control principles, with the ability to apply regulatory and policy guidance within established processes.
> Analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to review information, identify issues and develop practical solutions.
> Effective written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to present information clearly and tailor messages for different audiences.
> Ability to build positive working relationships and collaborate with stakeholders across functions and global teams.
> Sound judgement, with the ability to escalate issues promptly and seek guidance where required.
> Strong organisational skills and attention to detail, with the ability to manage competing priorities and deliver accurate work within agreed timelines.
> A proactive and adaptable approach, with a willingness to learn and contribute to continuous improvement.
> Strong Microsoft Excel skills, including data analysis, reconciliation and reporting, together with proficiency in PowerPoint and Word.
> Experience with Microsoft Copilot, automation tools or other AI-enabled productivity solutions would be desirable.
