Position Description

We are seeking a highly motivated Analyst - Assistant Portfolio Manager to join an AI-driven equities investment firm at an early stage of its development, with clear pathway to portfolio management responsibilities. This is an opportunity to mould and shape how a future-ready investment firm should be, supported by a strong technology team within the Group to execute on such plans. The firm is building products, systems and infrastructure which are future-facing and will stand the test of time, offering good long-term career prospects for the right candidate. Given the stage of development for the firm, we expect the candidate to be flexible in job responsibilities, entrepreneurial and be willing to step into non-investment work as required.

Key Areas of Responsibilities

• Manage stock coverage in India and US markets
• Shadow lead portfolio manager in new fund strategies with view to eventually take over
• Explore and contribute customized investment ideas, portfolio solutions for clients which is in alignment with client goals, risk tolerance, and regulatory guidelines.
• Target client segments are institutions and accredited investors. To contribute to firm’s solutions and product strategy given our ability to provide customised and non-vanilla offerings to clients.
• Engaging with clients and internal stakeholders to share our investment views

Requirements

• At least Bachelor’s Degree or above holder from a reputable university
• 3-5 years of experience in Equities (buy-side or sell-side). Experience in India markets and/or Technology will be viewed favourably, or candidates should be keen to develop their careers in such direction.
• Technology savvy, eager to adopt latest technologies to improve investment processes
• Independent thinker with strong fundamental investment grounding
• Singaporeans and Singapore Permanent Residents only
