YOU WILL BE:

The Assistant Manager, Operations leads with a focus on team development, grounded in Bergdorf Goodman's primary Service Values: Excellence, Imagination & Graciousness. You ensure the seamless execution of store operations by optimizing workflows, driving accountability, and encouraging a service-driven culture. With commitment to collaboration, the Assistant Manager, Operations partners to uphold the highest standards of luxury retail while supporting our goals and enhancing the client experience.

WHAT YOU WILL DO:

• Communicate daily operational goals with the team to ensure agreement and execution of priorities.
• Manage workflows to support daily store operations and special projects.
• Lead the financial inventory process within assigned areas, ensuring accuracy and accountability.
• Develop support associates to enhance skills, performance, and career progression.
• Foster a collaborative, customer-centric culture that prioritizes service excellence across the team.
• Partner with Support and Selling Managers through regular meetings to strengthen collaboration and implement operational strategies.
• Ensure staffing and daily coverage across all areas to maintain high operational standards.
• Oversee either a high-volume brand or a mid-level sales volume floor, managing all related operational and team performance metrics.

WHAT YOU WILL BRING:

• 3+ years of experience with retail operations, inventory management, or store leadership.
• Leadership experience - coaching and inspiring a team.
• Certain roles may require standing, bending, climbing stairs, and lifting and carrying up to 10 pounds
• Associates must be willing to work based on business need, which will include evenings, weekends, and holidays
