The Team

The PVH Area Manager Team ensures Area Performance and optimal Clients Experience through transferring best practices to the Stores, supporting Store Managers, cascading and following up HQ/Store processes.

The Position

Reporting to the Retail Director, the Area Manager will oversee the Outlet business in the Greater Paris area, driving commercial performance and operational excellence. The role is responsible for leading and developing Store Managers, fostering a best-in-class client experience, sharing best practices, and ensuring the consistent implementation of HQ initiatives, retail standards, and operational processes across all stores in the region.

Key Responsibilities

• Setting ambitious goals for the Store Managers aligned with PVH’s vision for a high-standard clients’ experience and PVH Retail Strategy
• Leading and guiding Store Managers to train the sales force focusing on their development and growth so that everyone can make their biggest impact
• Organizing the workforce planning in order to remain within the budget and maximize the stores’ performance
• Translating reports and sales analysis into strategy and business plans that will enhance the stores potential and develop new profit-making opportunities
• Guaranteeing integration and collaboration with stakeholders
• Building and maintaining strong relations with peers though constant exchange of feedbacks and suggestion of best policies and practices
• Dealing with staffing issues conducting appraisals and performance reviews
• Bringing best-in-class experience through new business opportunities, competitors analysis and market research
• Ensuring high standards for quality, customer service and health and safety are met
• Maintaining awareness of market trends in the retail industry
• Understanding forthcoming customer initiatives and monitoring what local competitors are doing

Profile / Requirements

• University Degree in Economics or related studies
• At least 5 years’ experience as Area Manager within structured Retail company
• Proven experience managing a large-scale, high-volume and complex retail scope, either in France or internationally, ideally across multiple stores and/or a major retail destination
• Highly developed business acumen
• Ability to take a 'big picture' view of a situation
• Good communication and collaboration skills and abilities
• Highly detail oriented and organized in work
• Ability to work under pressure and meet assigned deadlines
• Fluency in French and English
