Area Account Manager - Field Based - Wolseley Local Division

We have an Area Account Manager role available covering Bristol & West area

This is a fantastic new opportunity for a driven sales professional to join a market-leading business, take ownership of a territory and make a real impact through customer growth, new business development and relationship management, while building a long-term career with Wolseley.

You'll be responsible for:

• Driving sales and margin growth across your designated territory through proactive business development and account management.

• Winning new customers while identifying opportunities to grow spend within existing accounts.

• Building strong relationships with customer decision-makers through regular face-to-face engagement.

• Working closely with branch teams to maximise sales opportunities and deliver outstanding customer service.

• Promoting digital trading solutions and using market insights to increase customer engagement and grow market share.

This is a full-time, permanent role working 40 hours per week, Monday to Friday.

And here's what we'd like you to have:

• Proven experience in account management, business development, field sales or a similar customer-facing sales role.

• A strong track record of winning new business and growing customer accounts.

• Excellent communication, relationship-building and negotiation skills.

• Strong commercial awareness with the ability to identify opportunities and deliver results.

• A self-motivated, resilient and target-driven approach, with experience in merchanting, distribution, wholesale or construction-related sectors being advantageous
