We’re looking for a Retention Lead to join our ever-evolving Customer Success and Portfolio Management Team and help shape the future of global commerce. In this role, you will lead the strategy and performance of our APAC Small and Medium Business (SMB) portfolio, driving revenue growth, customer retention, and merchant activation across multiple markets. You will play a pivotal role in building scalable operating models, empowering high-performing teams, and influencing regional priorities that strengthen customer relationships and business outcomes. Working closely with country leaders and cross-functional partners, you will help accelerate Global Payments’ mission of delivering exceptional customer experiences while creating sustainable growth across the region.

What you'll own

• Lead the APAC retention and customer success strategy, owning revenue, activation, and attrition outcomes across the SMB portfolio while delivering measurable growth and portfolio performance.
• Build and scale a high-performing regional operating model, creating consistency, accountability, and sustainable success across multiple APAC markets.
• Drive commercial impact through data-led decision making, using portfolio insights, key performance indicators, and market trends to identify opportunities that improve retention, revenue, and merchant engagement.
• Influence regional business priorities, partnering with Sales, Product, Pricing, and Operations teams to deliver initiatives that strengthen customer value and accelerate growth.
• Develop and empower a network of leaders, fostering a culture of ownership, continuous improvement, and high performance that delivers lasting business results.

What you'll bring

• Proven success leading leaders and managers within Portfolio Management, Customer Success, Account Management, or related commercial functions.
• Extensive experience delivering revenue growth, customer retention, and portfolio performance outcomes in payments, technology, or similarly complex industries.
• Strong commercial acumen with the ability to balance customer experience, revenue objectives, and long-term business growth.
• Demonstrated ability to build, transform, and scale operating models across multiple markets while successfully navigating change and ambiguity.
• Exceptional stakeholder management skills, with a track record of influencing senior leaders and driving alignment across regional and global organizations.

It's a bonus if you have

• Experience leading customer success or portfolio management functions across multiple APAC markets.
• Proven success delivering cross-sell, upsell, win-back, or merchant activation programs that drive measurable commercial outcomes.
• Experience working within a matrixed global organization and representing regional performance in executive governance and reporting forums.
