Role Purpose As Engineer I - Implementation Release Management at Accelya, you will support release management activities for Accelya's airline software platform, coordinating change management tasks, maintaining release documentation and helping to ensure deployments are planned and executed effectively. Duties & Responsibilities • Coordinate change management activities for platform releases, maintaining the change calendar and ensuring all stakeholders are informed • Maintain release documentation including release notes, deployment guides and rollback procedures • Support pre-release testing coordination, tracking test completion and flagging outstanding issues • Use generative AI (Claude, ChatGPT or equivalent) to draft release notes, change communications and deployment documentation • Monitor CI/CD pipeline status, escalating failures or anomalies to senior release engineers • Participate in release readiness reviews, contributing to go/no-go decision-making • Maintain accurate records of all changes, deployments and release outcomes in the ITSM platform Required Experience & Skills • 0–3 years of experience in release management, change management or DevOps in a software development environment • Basic understanding of CI/CD pipelines and software deployment processes • Familiarity with ITSM platforms and change management processes (ITIL) • Strong organisational and communication skills • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, IT or a related field Preferred Experience & Skills • Familiarity with CI/CD tools (Jenkins, GitLab CI, GitHub Actions) and basic scripting for deployment automation • Use of generative AI (Claude, ChatGPT or equivalent) for drafting release notes, change communications and deployment guides • Awareness of ITIL change management principles and their application in software release management • Interest in how AI is being applied to release management, including automated deployment validation and intelligent change risk assessment What do we offer? • An open culture with a creative and challenging opportunity to satisfy your intellectual needs • Flexible working hours • Smart working: a hybrid remote/office working environment • Work-life balance • An excellent, dynamic and multicultural environment to work in About Accelya Accelya is a leading global software provider to the airline industry, powering over 200 airlines with an open, modular software platform.
