CSEC  Integrated Research

CSEC Integrated Research is part of IQVIA's Global Primary Intelligence and Primary Market Research business unit within the Commercial Solutions Excellence Centres (CSEC) organisation. We focus on understanding the behaviours and attitudes of Health Care Professionals and patients to support international pharmaceutical companies to understand them as people. We explore and measure what Health Care Professionals and patients say and do to deliver actionable insights and clear answers to our clients’ business questions. We typically use behavioural frameworks, AI tools and IQVIA data to support our research. We collaborate with other IQVIA teams to provide our clients with comprehensive solutions to their business issues.

CSEC Integrated Research supports a range of teams and business units in delivering market research solutions, including the UK Primary Intelligence team. The UK Primary Intelligence team leads ad-hoc and syndicated projects which can be standalone primary market research (PMR) projects or broader consulting engagements with PMR components.

The Role

In this role, you’ll support the delivery of multiple market research projects of varying complexity, working with more senior colleagues to ensure high-quality, timely and efficient delivery. We need insightful, detail-oriented people who take pride in their work and their relationships, so we can all work together to make a difference in the life science industry.

The Analyst will sit within CSEC Integrated Research and will be aligned to the UK Primary Intelligence team, supporting global and multi-country primary market research and consulting engagements for UK and EMEA HQ clients. The Analyst will take ownership of defined project tasks and workstreams, working closely with UK PI project leads and multidisciplinary delivery teams, and supporting client interactions as appropriate.

What You’ll Be Doing

• Support the design of research solutions, including methodologies, samples, questionnaires, discussion guides and other research tools
• Support the day-to-day delivery of consulting and Primary Market Research projects, coordinating defined activities across fieldwork, programming, desk research and other delivery teams
• Prepare report templates and data tabulation specifications, and analyse quantitative, qualitative, secondary and desk research findings to identify key themes and trends
• Translate findings into clear stories, conclusions and practical recommendations, with guidance from more senior team members
• Create high-quality reports and presentations for end clients, and attend, support and present defined sections in client meetings as appropriate
• Track project actions, timelines, quality and compliance requirements; contribute to client updates; use AI and other technology effectively; and support continued innovation in IQVIA’s market research offering

Who You Are

• Life sciences degree or another relevant degree, with a strong interest in healthcare, consulting and market research
• Recent graduate or up to 2 years’ relevant experience in healthcare, pharmaceuticals, consulting or market research; exposure to international or multi-country studies is an advantage
• Fluent written and spoken business English
• Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office tools, particularly Word, Excel and PowerPoint
• Analytical and logical, with the ability to interpret quantitative and qualitative information, identify patterns and draw clear conclusions
• A clear communicator and developing storyteller, able to turn findings into well-structured written and visual outputs for different audiences
• Organised, detail-oriented and able to manage your own time, take ownership of defined tasks and work effectively within a team
• Curious, proactive and keen to learn, with an interest in using technology and AI to improve how work is delivered and strengthen insights
