Our Corporate & Investment Banking team is a leading global franchise with over 700 professionals in North America, Europe and Asia. We provide our corporate and institutional clients with capital markets and financial advisory services and integrated solutions.

We’re on the lookout for talented individuals to join our Singapore Corporate & Investment Banking (CIB) team covering Energy (incl. Utilities, Energy Transition), and Communications, Media and Technology, Real Estate (USA and Canada), and Mining as an IB Analyst and support a franchise with solid growth prospects.

Position Overview

As an Investment Banking Analyst, you will be a full-time member of the Corporate & Investment Banking (CIB) platform, and support senior bankers with origination, relationship management, and execution of cross border advisory mandates between North America/ Europe and Asia.

This role is designed for an analyst with 1–2 years of prior investment banking experience who has progressed beyond initial technical training and can execute at speed in live deal environments with increased leadership mandate and progression toward associate-level responsibilities.

Core Responsibilities and Functional Expectations

• Support senior bankers in the identification, evaluation, and execution of M&A, capital raising, and strategic advisory mandates.
• Act as primary resource for market mapping and opportunity identification to deepen the strategic advisory business coverage in Asia. Help with strategies to enhance clientele value by introducing new sector coverage.
• Work along with the senior bankers to manage key client relationships in the region. Prepare client briefing notes, and presentations for management.
• Act as the primary technical lead for development of client-ready presentation materials and ensuring that all necessary information is readily available for discussions
• Assist in preparation of Teasers, Pitch Books, Information Memorandums and other Transaction Documents. Help setup and manage Data Rooms and assist with legal documentation.
• Offering general and administrative support to the department like scheduling meetings and tracking project timelines

Transaction Execution and Client Materials

• Preparation of pitch books, valuation materials, and management presentations
• Development of strategic narratives aligned with long-term Asian institutional investment horizons
• Ownership of accuracy, consistency, and version control of deliverables

Advanced Financial Modeling and Technical Analysis:

• Three-statement financial modeling
• Accounting standards bridging (US GAAP, IFRS, Japanese GAAP) DCF, comps, accretion/dilution, and financial analysis

Sector Exposure and Strategic Themes:

• Digital Infra
• Real Estate Advisory
• Infrastructure, Energy and Energy transition Technology, AI, and advanced manufacturing

Candidate Background

• This role is designed for a high-performance professional with 1-2 years of experience who possesses the academic pedigree and linguistic skills to bridge the gap between North American investment targets and Asian institutional capital providers. 
• Bachelor’s degree from a top-tier university, with a strong academic performance
• 1–2 years of relevant transaction experience
• Proficiency in MS Power Point and MS Excel skills; Experience of working with Bloomberg, Capital IQ, Pitchbook, and other databases
• The candidate is expected to be independent, self-motivated, organized and diligent. The role will provide an opportunity to work on challenges independently, with oversight from seniors. Needs strong verbal and written communication skills, as well as follow strict adherence to ethical and regulatory standards.
