ABOUT THE JOB

We are seeking an Analyst, Cloud Engineer to support and enhance NAB's cloud backup, recovery, and data protection capabilities. This role combines BAU operations, project delivery, and continuous service improvement, partnering closely with cloud, platform, infrastructure, and application engineering teams to ensure resilient, secure, and scalable cloud services.

MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES

• Manage and support cloud backup and recovery solutions across AWS, Azure, and GCP environments.

• Monitor, troubleshoot, and resolve backup, recovery, performance, and operational incidents.

• Implement and maintain backup policies, recovery testing, compliance controls, and operational documentation.

• Support infrastructure automation, deployment, and continuous improvement initiatives.

• Collaborate with internal teams, vendors, and cloud providers to ensure service reliability and resilience.

• Contribute to change management, risk assessment, and governance activities.

YOUR SKILLS & EXPERIENCE

• Good English communications & experience in Cloud Engineering across AWS, Azure, and/or GCP.

• Hands-on experience with backup and recovery technologies such as AWS Backup, Azure Backup, Google Cloud Backup & DR, and ideally Commvault.

• Strong troubleshooting, incident management, and problem-solving capabilities.

• Understanding of change management, operational risk, and service governance processes.

• Exposure to Infrastructure as Code (Terraform) and scripting/automation tools (Python, Bash, TypeScript) is desirable.

• Knowledge of cloud security, compliance controls, and large-scale storage/replication solutions is advantageous.
