Job Description:

Overview

Global Payments Solutions (GPS) Specialized Product Sales (SPS) is responsible for driving revenue growth through the delivery of differentiated treasury and transaction banking solutions across payments, receivables, transactional foreign exchange (TFX), cards, trade, and liquidity management. SPS serves as a strategic partner to Treasury Sales Officers, Corporate Banking, Product Management, and clients to originate, structure, and execute complex opportunities across Global Commercial Banking (GCB) and Global Corporate & Investment Banking (GCIB).

This Associate role is a unique dual hat position combining frontline product sales support with business management responsibilities. The successful candidate will support the APAC SPS Financial Institutions Group (FIG), Cards and TFX teams while also acting as the APAC SPS Business Manager, managing business reporting, performance metrics, pipeline governance, executive presentations, business reviews, and strategic initiatives for the broader SPS organization.

Based in Singapore, this role offers exposure to senior stakeholders across APAC and globally, while providing a broad understanding of transaction banking products, sales management, business strategy, and organizational leadership.


Key Responsibilities

Product Sales and Client Support

  • Partner with SPS Sales Officers, Treasury Sales Officers, Corporate Banking, and Product teams to support client engagements, complex deal opportunities, RFPs, and strategic solutioning initiatives.
  • Support the FIG, Cards, and TFX sales teams in identifying opportunities, developing client proposals, and advancing deal progression.
  • Assist in the management of client reviews, account planning activities, pipeline development, and revenue growth initiatives.
  • Conduct market, client, and competitive analysis to identify emerging trends, product opportunities, and market gaps.
  • Support the packaging, positioning, and commercialization of GPS solutions that address client treasury challenges.
  • Develop client presentations, sales materials, business cases, and executive briefing documents.
  • Assist in ensuring all activities are conducted within appropriate risk, compliance, and regulatory frameworks.

SPS COO and Business Management Responsibilities

  • Serve as business management lead for APAC SPS, supporting the Head of SPS APAC in driving operating discipline and strategic execution.
  • Own and coordinate regional sales reporting, business scorecards, performance dashboards, KPIs, and management information.
  • Maintain and monitor SPS pipeline governance, mandate tracking, forecasting, and business analytics.
  • Coordinate quarterly business reviews (QBRs), monthly operating reviews, leadership presentations, and executive reporting.
  • Produce management presentations and strategic updates for APAC and Global leadership teams.
  • Manage ad hoc analyses and special projects supporting senior management decision making.

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience.
  • Relevant experience in transaction banking, cash management, treasury services, payments, trade finance, cards, foreign exchange, or related financial services disciplines.
  • Strong understanding of corporate and financial institution treasury and cash management processes.
  • Experience supporting sales organizations, complex deal execution, RFP management, or strategic client initiatives.
  • Strong analytical and problem solving capabilities with the ability to translate data into actionable business insights.
  • Advanced Salesforce, Tableau, PowerPoint and Excel skills, including experience producing executive level presentations and management reporting.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a dynamic, deadline driven environment.
  • Demonstrated ability to build effective relationships across functions and seniority levels.
  • Self starter with a strong sense of ownership, accountability, and attention to detail.
