As a member of the Cloud Native Computing Foundation (CNCF), we promote speed, agility, and scalability in software development. As an AI Engineer at PRODYNA, you will design, build, and operate production-grade AI solutions that combine reliable backend engineering with modern large language model capabilities. You will work with international clients and multidisciplinary PRODYNA teams to turn business needs into secure, observable, and scalable applications - from retrieval-augmented generation and agentic workflows to APIs, evaluation pipelines, and LLMOps. 

The role is ideal for an engineer who treats AI as a software engineering discipline: measurable, testable, cost-aware, and built for real-world use. 

Requirements

• Design and develop Python backend services and APIs using Django, FastAPI, and Uvicorn.
• Build RAG pipelines with chunking, embeddings, hybrid retrieval, reranking, and vector databases.
• Develop AI agents and tool integrations using orchestration frameworks and Model Context Protocol (MCP).
• Manage versioned, composable system prompts and implement agent and tool policies.
• Evaluate and monitor LLM applications, optimizing quality, token costs, latency, and streaming performance.
• Maintain reliable services with automated tests, database migrations, Docker, and GitLab CI.

Your profile

• Strong Python development skills and experience with Django or FastAPI.
• Experience with PostgreSQL, Redis, Celery, and Docker.
• Practical understanding of LLM applications, RAG, embeddings, vector search, and retrieval quality.
• Experience with agent orchestration frameworks such as Google ADK, Haystack, or LangGraph.
• Familiarity with prompt engineering, tool calling, and MCP integrations.
• Experience building documented APIs with OpenAPI, writing tests with pytest, and managing database migrations.
• Ability to translate business requirements into maintainable software and collaborate effectively with colleagues and client
