We are seeking a highly motivated, AI-savvy Business Analyst to join our Financial Markets Business Support Services team and play a pivotal role in delivering strategic business and technology initiatives across trading, risk, operations and settlements.

Working as part of cross-functional Agile teams, you will partner with business stakeholders, Product Owners, architects, and delivery teams to define, prioritise, and deliver innovative solutions that enhance business capabilities and create tangible customer and operational value.

This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced Business Analyst with financial markets expertise, strong Agile delivery experience, and a passion for using AI and automation to solve complex problems, drive innovation, and deliver business outcomes.

The Opportunity

As an AI-savvy Business Analyst, you will:

• Drive requirements discovery and business analysis activities within Agile delivery teams.

• Collaborate closely with Product Owners to refine and prioritise product backlogs.

• Translate business needs into high-quality user stories, acceptance criteria, and functional requirements.

• Facilitate workshops, story mapping sessions, process reviews, and stakeholder engagements.

• Work across front office, middle office, settlements, operations, risk, and technology teams.

• Analyse business processes and identify opportunities for continuous improvement.

• Champion the adoption of AI, automation and emerging technologies to drive innovation and improve business outcomes.

• Ensure solutions align with strategic objectives, architecture standards, and regulatory requirements.

• Participate in sprint planning, backlog refinement, reviews, retrospectives, and release activities.

• Champion Agile best practices and help foster a collaborative, delivery-focused culture.

About You

You are an experienced AI-Savvy Business Analyst who thrives in dynamic environments and enjoys turning complex business challenges into practical solutions. You champion the adoption of AI, automation, and emerging technologies to drive innovation and improve business outcomes.

Skills & Experience

• Business Analysis experience within banking, capital markets, investment management, or financial services.

• Demonstrated experience with harnessing automation and AI tools to simplify complexity, improve productivity, and deliver business value.

• Strong experience working within Agile delivery frameworks such as Scrum, Kanban, or hybrid Agile models.

• Demonstrated experience supporting Product Owners and Agile delivery teams.

• Proven capability in writing user stories, defining acceptance criteria, and managing backlogs.

• Excellent stakeholder engagement and facilitation skills.

• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.

• Strong understanding of software development lifecycle and iterative delivery practices.

• Financial Markets experience including fixed income, foreign exchange, listed and OTC derivatives, market data platforms, clearing and settlement, and risk and regulatory reporting is desirable.

• Demonstrated working experience using JIRA, Confluence, SQL and business process modelling tools is highly advantageous.
