The Enterprise Document AI System (DAISY) Product Owner is responsible for maximizing the value delivered by a dedicated Agile scrum team. Working closely with Product Managers, business stakeholders, and technology partners, the Product Owner translates strategic objectives into actionable requirements and maintains a prioritized backlog that enables successful delivery.

This role serves as the primary day-to-day leader for their scrum team, acts as the voice of the business helping remove ambiguity, prioritize work, and drive successful execution. Job expectations include ensuring delivery of solutions that meet business objectives, quality expectations, regulatory requirements, and delivery commitments. driving clarity, execution, accountability, and continuous improvement.

Responsibilities:

​Product Ownership

• Partner with Product Managers to execute against the product vision, roadmap, and strategic priorities.
• Translate business objectives into well-defined features, user stories, acceptance criteria, and delivery requirements.
• Own and maintain a prioritized product backlog aligned to program objectives and business value.
• Review, refine, and accept completed work to ensure requirements and quality expectations are met.
• Make day-to-day prioritization and scope decisions in support of delivery objectives.​

Agile Team Leadership

• Serve as the primary Product Owner for a dedicated scrum team.
• Drive backlog readiness to ensure sufficient work is prepared for upcoming sprints.
• Promote adherence to Agile practices, sprint commitments, and team delivery routines.
• Partner with Scrum Masters and technology teams to remove blockers and improve team effectiveness.
• Foster a culture of accountability, ownership, continuous improvement, and delivery excellence.​

Stakeholder Management

• Collaborate closely with business, technology, data, and operational stakeholders.
• Proactively provide clear and timely updates on priorities, risks, dependencies, and progress.
• Manage stakeholder expectations while balancing competing priorities and delivery constraints.
• Build trusted partnerships across teams and challenge constructively when needed to drive the best outcomes.
• Ensure alignment between business needs and delivery team execution.

AI Program Enablement

• Support delivery of strategic AI capabilities within the DAISY program.
• Partner with AI and technology teams to help translate emerging capabilities into business value.
• Contribute to the evolution of product management and Agile practices across the program.
• Help drive adoption of scalable AI solutions that support enterprise priorities.​
