As an Advanced App Eng Associate Manager, a typical day involves investigating and resolving complex issues across various components of essential business systems. This role requires a proactive approach to identifying system anomalies and collaborating with different teams to ensure smooth and uninterrupted operations. The position demands continuous monitoring and quick response to incidents, ensuring that business processes remain efficient and reliable throughout the day.

Roles & Responsibilities:
- Expected to be an SME, collaborate and manage the team to perform.
- Responsible for team decisions.
- Engage with multiple teams and contribute on key decisions.
- Provide solutions to problems for their immediate team and across multiple teams.
- Coordinate with stakeholders to prioritize and address system issues effectively.
- Mentor team members to enhance their technical capabilities and problem-solving skills.
- Facilitate knowledge sharing sessions to promote best practices within the team.
- Continuously evaluate and improve support processes to increase team efficiency and service quality.

Professional & Technical Skills:
- Required Skill: Expert proficiency in IBM AS /400 Administration.
- Strong knowledge of system performance tuning and capacity planning for IBM AS /400 environments.
- Experience in managing system backups, recovery procedures, and disaster recovery planning.
- Familiarity with security protocols and user access management on IBM AS /400 platforms.
- Ability to troubleshoot hardware and software issues related to IBM AS /400 systems.
- Proficient in scripting and automation to streamline routine administrative tasks.

Additional Information:
- The candidate should have minimum 3 years of experience in IBM AS /400 Administration.
- This position is based at our Manila office.
