Required Degree:
MS in Physics or related field, PhD preferred.
The required degree must be completed by the start date.
Experience:
Experience teaching college-level Physics courses. Preferred experience serving as an experimental laboratory instructor.
Duties/Expectations:
Teach the following core experimental and technical lab courses:
- PHSCS 225: Introduction to Experimental Physics
- PHSCS 240: Design, Fabrication & Use of Scientific Apparatus
- PHSCS 245: Experiments in Contemporary Physics
These courses require the adjunct faculty member to prepare course materials, assess student performance, maintain accurate records, support student learning, and follow departmental and institutional policies.
