The Department of Curriculum and Instruction is recruiting a pool of persons to be considered for possible adjunct teaching positions in the elementary education, secondary education, ESL/bilingual education, and special education programs. Appointments are limited to a specified term and may include the following instructional sessions: Fall 2026, Spring 2027, and Summer 2027.Job Description:
We will not sponsor applicants for work visas for this position.
This is a pooled position that will only be accessed on an as-needed basis.
Required qualifications:
Successful completion of a terminal degree in education or related field or qualifications matching those enumerated in the Faculty Qualifications Manual for Alternate Methods of Qualifying Faculty to Teach.
Preferred qualifications:
College/university teaching experience in education, higher education, or related field.
Position responsibilities include:
. Fulfill all aspects of the designated course outline
. Grade assignments and exams in a timely manner
. Respond to student inquiries in a timely manner
. Submit final grades according to the School of Education policy
Conditions of Employment:
This position is restricted to a specified term.
This position is not eligible for benefits.
