This role will support the management of the participating business, including on bonus and other discretionary benefits recommendation, regular asset share reporting, determination of policyholder illustration / other regulatory disclosures, as well as other initiatives and ad-hoc projects.

Responsibilities

• Support the review and recommendation of discretionary benefits, including dividends, bonuses and non-guaranteed rates, and system implementation.
• Support regular production processes including asset share reporting, regulatory disclosures and maintenance and development of actuarial models.

Preferred skills

• Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel
• Experience in AXIS, Prophet ALS or other actuarial software is not required but a plus
• Experience in HK-specific Par management
• Strong attention to details
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Demonstrated initiative, commitment and responsibility as a team member
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills in both English and Chinese

Qualifications

• University Graduate in Actuarial Science or a related discipline
• Good progression in actuarial examinations
• At least 2 years of full-time experience in life insurance industry
