Sobre este puesto de Accounts Payable SSC Analyst en nVent

nVent · Presencial · Brasov, RO

We’re looking for people who put their innovation to work to advance our success – and their own. Join an organization that ensures a more secure world through connecting and protecting our customers with inventive electrical solutions.

As an Accounts Payable (AP) subject matter expert, you will improve processes, systems, controls and reporting to support compliant, efficient operations. This is an individual-contributor role with no direct reports,.

WHAT YOU WILL EXPERIENCE IN THIS POSITION:

  • Resolve complex AP, invoice and payment issues with Finance, Procurement, Supply, Master Data, Tax, Treasury, IT and external providers. Use independent judgment within established policies and escalate broader financial, compliance or operational risks.
  • Maintain AP controls, approval workflows and Delegation of Authority alignment. Address control gaps, support internal, external, statutory and SOX audits, and help meet local invoicing, tax, payment and record-retention requirements.
  • Administer AP platforms and ERP integrations, including workflow and configuration updates, structured data loads and automated posting settings. Troubleshoot invoice, matching, master-data, payments, tax and interface issues with solution providers.
  • Coordinate testing, defect resolution and controlled deployment of system changes. Support AP, ERP, procurement and finance projects, process transitions, readiness checks and post-go-live stabilization.
  • Support country e-invoicing and other regulatory projects by translating regulatory requirements into practical workflows and controls, validating invoice data, outputs and lifecycle statuses, and coordinating testing and hypercare.
  • Recommend and drive process and configuration improvements that increase automation, reduce manual work and incorrect postings, and standardize AP activities while respecting country, entity, ERP and regulatory differences.
  • Develop accurate, timely AP reports and KPI analyses covering aging, debit balances, exceptions, pending approvals, automation and process quality. Identify trends and risks, coordinate root-cause resolution and provide ad hoc business analysis.
  • Maintain process instructions, maps, control records and system documentation. Train and support users, share best practices, and coordinate stakeholders and issue resolution without formal people-management authority.
  • Support in standard transactional processing and reporting within the AP team.

YOU HAVE:

  • A bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, Information Systems or a related field, or equivalent relevant experience.
  • At least 5 years of experience in Accounts Payable, Procure-to-Pay, Finance Operations, Shared Services or a related discipline.
  • Strong end-to-end AP and Procure-to-Pay knowledge, including PO and non-PO invoices, approvals, exceptions, payments, aging, reconciliations and audit trails, plus a good understanding of financial controls, Delegation of Authority and segregation of duties.
  • Experience with AP automation and ERP-supported invoice processes; hands-on workflow configuration, testing or implementation experience is strongly preferred.
  • Preferably, experience supporting cross-functional projects, process transitions, audits or regulatory changes, and working in a multi-entity, multi-country or shared-services environment.
  • Advanced Excel skills and confidence working with structured data and system reports, supported by strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Strong written and verbal communication and cross-functional collaboration skills, with the ability to turn technical or regulatory requirements into clear procedures and user guidance.
  • Attention to detail, ownership and follow-through, the ability to manage changing priorities, and a continuous-improvement mindset.
  • Fluent English; an additional European language is an advantage.
