What You Will Accomplish with Us

As an Accounting Technician, you will be at the heart of our mission. Your main responsibilities will include:

• Performing banking and cash management follow-ups, including bank reconciliations, investigation of discrepancies, monitoring outstanding items, and resolving issues in a timely manner;
• Preparing and owning account reconciliations (bank and other operational accounts), documenting analyses, and maintaining clear audit trails;
• Recording various transactions in Oracle ERP, including journal entries as required for month-end activities, adjustments, and reclassifications;
• Executing established internal controls, identifying anomalies, and promptly escalating situations requiring more in-depth analysis;
• Preparing supporting documentation, responding to inquiries, and producing required reconciliations for external audits, regulatory requests, and internal requests.

What Could Accelerate Your Success in This Role

We are looking for someone who:

· Has 3 years of experience in operational accounting;
· Holds a college diploma in Accounting or Administration;
· Is recognized for their strong attention to detail and sense of accountability;
· Demonstrates curiosity and the ability to challenge existing practices with a solution-oriented mindset;

The typical hiring range for this position is between CAD 60,700 and CAD 68,000 per year; the offered base salary may vary depending on knowledge, skills, years of experience, and internal equity related to the role.
