About You

You will be part of a small team (3-5), reporting to the Senior Manager of Accounting (PartnerStack Controller). Under your scope, you will have a combination of recurring maintenance tasks (daily/weekly/monthly) which are required to keep the basics of the business operational, as well as project work aimed at meeting various requirements or improving existing processes.

The position offers a hybrid schedule: you will work once a week onsite and four days on remote. Compensation package includes 15 paid working days (PTO) plus local holidays, comprehensive medical coverage (OSDE 310) for you and your dependents, reimbursement for elegible wellness activities, English lessons, global and local events participation, within other benefits.

What you’ll do and how you’ll have an impact

• Record all manner of economic transactions into the accounting system and other utilized platforms.
• Perform month-end close operations, including reconciliations and consolidations.
• Handle filing of certain tax-related items, such as sales or franchise taxes.
• Actively aid during audit season, by communicating with auditors and providing samples.
• Participation in AR and AP functions, including follow-ups on delinquents, set up vendors and customers, and record inflows and outflows.
• Process of new sales orders and set up of contracts.
• Cash management across several platforms.
• Assisting other team members and departments with ad hoc requests.
• Communication with external parties, primarily clients and vendors.
• Tracking and updating of numerous figures and reports.

What we’re looking for

• Completed or actively pursuing your CPA designation (or related field).
• 2+ years experience in accounting. 
• Advanced proficiency in Excel functions.
• Working knowledge of accounting software, preferably NetSuite.
• Exposure to audits, sales and income tax, and other compliance basics.
• Familiarity with Salesforce contracts (preferred).
• Familiarity with various banking and payment portals (Stripe/Paypal/AirWallex/etc) (preferred).
• Attention to detail and focus while dealing with repetition or large amounts of data.
• Critical mind for analyzing data, spotting trends and anomalies, and establishing connections between events.
