Role definition:

Responsible for ensuring compliance with local and U.S. accounting standards for legal entities within the financial sector, including the preparation of financial statements and related disclosures. Manage external and internal audit processes by coordinating with auditors and providing all required financial information and supporting documentation. Prepare and deliver reports, analyses, and documentation for a variety of internal and external stakeholders, including Corporate, Tax, Transfer Pricing, Legal teams, and regulatory authorities. Support special projects and ad hoc reporting requirements as needed, while maintaining and strengthening internal controls and ensuring accounting procedures remain fully compliant with GAAP and company policies.

Responsibilities:

• Coordinate the audit processes between the Audit and Legal Entities teams

• Prepare and share information with the Audit team before starting the audit process.

• Handle audit requests, coordinate the attention of them whit the departments involved in the audit process.

• Prepare Financial Statements and notes

• Prepare and share information related to the transfer pricing process such as: Local File, Annex 9, Master file, etc.

• Maintaining financial records in accordance with GAAP and organizational standards.

• Creating reports on financial performance and providing insightful analysis for internal and external use.

• Upon request, take part in special projects and ad hoc reporting requests.

• Maintain, implement, and adhere to internal controls while ensuring that accounting procedures comply with GAAP.

Knowledge of processes, methods, and tools of financial reporting; ability to create and maintain accurate and thorough financial reports.
 

Additional Information:

This position is located in Santa Catarina, Nuevo León, Mexico.

This position will require travel (Occasionally)

Work schedule: Monday – Friday (8 am – 5pm)
