Your role and responsibilities
 

Supplier quality management for mechanical components (Plastic/ Metal/ Spraying etc.) and ODM/OEM manufacturing assembly processes.

The work model for the role is: onsite

This role is contributing to the Smart Building division in China.

You will be mainly accountable for:

• Implement and lead new supplier quality system and process audits. Partner with the R&D to verify and resolve quality issues during prototype/pilot builds, and follow up on corrective actions.
• Lead the resolution of material quality issues occurring at IQC and on the production line to ensure stable manufacturing operations. Handle quality planning and PPAP execution for component/ODM product development and supplier-initiated changes (4M).
• Conduct regular process audits (or spot checks) at supplier sites regarding quality defects and track the implementation of improvement actions. Monitor supplier quality performance and drive continual improvement initiatives.
• Conduct training for supplier on quality tools (DOE, SPC, GRR…) and cosmetic criterion. ODM/OEM products customer complaints analysis and improvements: Fast respond to the customer complaints and lead the internal analysis process. Plan and drive the corrective and preventive actions to guarantee fast and effective closure of the issues.

Qualifications for the role:

• Bachelor’s degree or above, major in mechanical design、automation technology or polymer material related professional, digitalization experience is preferred.
• Above 5 years supplier quality management background, experience in injection molding parts, metal parts, structural parts, spraying parts is preferred.
• Familiar with APQP、PPAP, SPC, CP, FMEA, 8D etc., Six Sigma Green/Black Belt certification is preferred.
• Proficiency in Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, familiar with Minitab or Power BI is preferred.
• Ability to communicate in English, both written and oral.
• Good communication and teamwork and leadership
• Highly responsible, and self-motivated.
• A very strong learning ability.
• Detail-oriented and pursue for perfection.
