What You'll Be Doing
- Safely operate haul trucks and other mobile equipment to transport materials throughout the quarry.
- Conduct pre-shift equipment inspections and promptly report maintenance or safety concerns.
- Follow production plans to efficiently move materials while meeting operational goals.
- Adhere to all safety policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements.
- Support quarry operations by maintaining clean work areas and collaborating with team members.
What Are We Looking For
- Ability to safely operate heavy mobile equipment in a quarry, mining, construction, or similar industrial environment.
- Strong commitment to workplace safety, operational excellence, and continuous improvement.
- Ability to read, understand, and follow operating procedures and work instructions.
- Dependable communication and teamwork skills with the ability to work effectively in a production environment.
- Mechanical aptitude and the ability to identify and report equipment issues.
Conditions of Employment
- Successful candidate must submit to post-offer pre-employment physical examination, drug/alcohol screen, and background check.
- Some positions require FMCSA regulated ongoing drug and alcohol testing.
Work Environment
- Role operates primarily in environments where the conditions include moving mechanical equipment, inclement weather, heat, cold, humidity, and elevated noise level.
