We are seeking a detail-oriented, proactive, and governance-focused professional to join our team as a Compliance Officer

How You'll Shine

• Compliance excellence: Support the administration, monitoring, and continuous improvement of compliance obligations, regulatory registers, and risk management frameworks across the Asia Pacific region.
• Governance support: Assist with company secretarial functions, board meeting coordination, records management, and the preparation of board and committee documentation.
• Risk and regulatory oversight: Monitor incidents, breaches, and compliance obligations while maintaining regulatory registers and reporting requirements.
• Analytical precision: Review product disclosure statements, marketing materials, governing documents, and compliance-related information to ensure accuracy and regulatory compliance.
• Audit and reporting expertise: Assist with internal and external audits, compliance reviews, and quarterly compliance reporting activities.
• Cross-functional collaboration: Partner with Legal, Finance, Sales, Resort Operations, Executive Leadership, and external service providers to deliver compliant outcomes.
• Integrity and accountability: Uphold ethical standards, company policies, and regulatory requirements while promoting a culture of compliance and governance.
  

Key Business Deliverables

• Deliver accurate and timely compliance reporting for committees, audits, and regulatory obligations.
• Support the effective management of compliance frameworks, regulatory registers, and governance processes.
• Ensure product disclosure materials and governing documents are reviewed, maintained, and communicated appropriately.
• Contribute to annual compliance certifications, reviews, and reporting requirements.
• Assist with governance and company secretarial activities, including board meetings, records management, and statutory obligations.
• Promote a strong compliance culture aligned with Travel + Leisure Co.'s values and vision.
  

Core Responsibilities

• Administer compliance obligations, registers, policies, and risk management frameworks.
• Review product disclosure statements, marketing materials, and product-related documentation.
• Monitor, assess, and report compliance incidents, breaches, and regulatory matters.
• Maintain Privacy, Financial Services Licence, and Credit Licence regulatory registers.
• Prepare quarterly compliance reports and support internal and external audit activities.
• Assist with updates and disclosures of constitutions, guidelines, regulations, and other governing documents.
• Support compliance programs including AML/CTF, Privacy, and Australian Consumer Law requirements.
• Coordinate board meetings, maintain company records, and prepare board and committee minutes.
• Manage property and club registers while liaising with custodians, trustees, and service providers.
• Assist with company secretarial administration and governance activities.
• Contribute to process improvement initiatives and compliance best practices across the business.

What You'll Bring

• Previous experience in compliance, governance, legal, risk, audit, or related functions.
• Experience within financial services, legal, corporate governance, or regulated industries will be highly regarded.
• Paralegal, compliance, audit, or related qualifications preferred.
• Intermediate to advanced Microsoft Office skills, including Word, Excel, and Outlook.
• Exceptional attention to detail with proven document review and proofreading capabilities.
• Knowledge of relevant laws, regulations, and compliance obligations, or the ability to quickly learn and apply them.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills with the confidence to engage stakeholders at all levels, including executives.
• Excellent organizational and time-management skills with the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment.
• Adaptability, professionalism, and a continuous improvement mindset.
